I've been aware of cash gifting for a while now, but it's never really pushed my buttons, to be honest. What's the big deal about sending cash to total strangers, in the vague hope that other total strangers will send cash to you?
It sounded too much like a scam to me or, a the very least, an expensive waste of time.
However, all that might be about to change.
You see, a friend of mine has been doing really, really well with a particular cash gifting program for some years now. It's helped to buy him a gorgeous house, a luxury car and, most importantly of all, a massive amount of time to spend with his family, on vacation, fishing, walking in the mountains and so on.
Time is our one non-renewable asset and, as a famous man once said, isn't it remarkable how cheaply most of us sell it for?
Anyway, despite his quite obvious success, I've resisted joining him in cash gifting so far. I just wasn't sure, you know?
One of the things I really like about the way he operates, however, is that he keeps a close eye on the cash gifting world. He's checked out numerous programs, and he'd carefully selected one of them as it was clearly the superior program, in his eyes, at that time.
Last week, I got an email from him, and he's moved on. The one he was working with has been overtaken by a relative new-comer called The People's Program (or TPP). As a result, he's taking his team across with him, and he finally persuaded me to join.
So, what I thought might be interesting would be to keep an online journal or my progress with the People's Program.
Here's a summary of my activities so far...
- Joined the People's Program and paid my $50 annul fee
- Contacted both my sponsor (my friend) and his sponsor, to see how they'd like to recieve my cash gifts
- Bought myself a domain name, ready for when my site is released to me
I'll keep you posted...
